Great songs are born from truth, and only you can write your truth.
In this class we will explore the process of finding truth in existing songs and songs-to-be. In doing so, we will address common pitfalls in songwriting as well as David’s thoughts on song structure, form, and inspiration. We will share songs together; David will provide feedback and encouragement to help strengthen these works. This class is open to anyone interested in the art and process of songwriting.
This class is intended for anyone with a desire to write a song. Whether you’re a complete novice or a seasoned writer; whether your goal is one song or hundreds, we all can use a hand getting the creative wheels rolling!
This class meets in person.
