INSTRUMENT: Banjo
This class will introduce you to the 5-string banjo and the basics of playing old-time style with a strum called “frailing.” Learn how to tune the banjo, the “bum-ditty” (frailing) strum, and the major chords of the key of G. As you learn a few tunes, you’ll also pick up some left hand techniques such as a pull-off and a hammer-on.
