Songs from the Front Porch

TERM 5, 2023

INSTRUCTOR: Richard Liebman (bio)
DAY/TIME: Mon – 7:30pm, In-person

What’s more fun than sitting on your front porch, backyard deck, or around the campfire singing familiar songs with family and friends? From medieval times to now, playing and singing songs together has brought joy, comfort, entertainment, and even meaning to those performing and participating.

In this class, we will explore songs that harken back to the days of singing together to create an atmosphere of community and belonging. Anything from “This Land Is Your Land” to “Blowing In The Wind” to “Ripple” to “Wagon Wheel.”

All singers, strummers, pickers, and melody players are welcome to join in the journey!

This class meets in person.
