Have you experimented with recording yourself or others and found that, while the results were good, you wish you could cut out extra bits at the beginning and end? Maybe you have wanted to record a guitar, then later add a banjo or vocal? You can do these things and many more using free audio software called Audacity using your laptop computer.
In this four-session class, you will learn how to record and import audio into your computer, how to manipulate the audio to get the results you want, how to create multi-track projects, and many other things as well.
The following prerequisites are required:
- Laptop computer and mouse
- Download and install Audacity prior to class
- Ability to use computer software such as Microsoft Word
Class dates are Aug 28, Sept 11, Sept 18, and Sept 25.
*Note that the size of this class will be limited to six people.
This class meets in person.
