In this class we will learn the basics of learning melodies by ear, improvising licks and fills, and generating original solos (or “breaks,” as they’re called in bluegrass).
Starting with scales and arpeggios, we will build proficiency first in the keys of G, A, and D.
Typical bluegrass instruments include the banjo, mandolin, fiddle, guitar, dobro, and bass.
This class meets in person.
