Description
TERM 4, 2023
INSTRUCTOR: Keith Berland (bio)
DAY/TIME: Tue – 7:30pm, In-person only
INSTRUMENT: Fiddle
What’s the difference between a jig, a reel, and a polka? Are you ready to start your journey as an Irish Fiddler? Learn what a cut is, how to do a long roll, and when to use a slide, all while learning a few commonly-played Irish fiddle tunes.
Prepare yourself to sit in on a pub session, play at a ceilidh, or just have fun sounding like Kevin Burke!
This class is designed for students who are already comfortable playing the fiddle or violin — beyond the beginning level, regardless of style of playing.
This class meets in person.
